With proprietary intellectual property rights, the dual sensor 10Hz of YS series is OBC seismic sensor used in ocean bottom, it presses the ghost reflection and the water reverberation and improves the accuracy of seismic data interpretation.

● The unique design of the spring shock electrical connections makes the land seismic signal transmission more reliable.

● The new spin structure with the optimized damping formula reduces the internal mechanical interference in degree.

● Integrated design of hydrophone and geophone increases the ability of water proof and makes it more convenient for field maintenance.

●It combines 2 gimballed geophones to sense motion with a hydrophone for sensing pressure.

● For Hydrophone Part: MP25-11 Style Hydrophone, MP25-14 Style Hydrophone and P44A Style Hydrophone are optional.

Hydrophone 5Hz

Hydrophone 5Hz(YS-25-5Hz) is low frequency piezoelectric sensor for prospecting purpose in swamp, transition zone, river and shallow sea. The product is small size, stable and high sensitivity for output and non-directional receiving. Its high temperature injection molding seal structure makes it better for water proof and its tail suspension wire’s design makes it more suitable for field wiring.

The YS-25-5Hz hydrophones are entirely molded polyurethane units that eliminates water leakage and also prevents water from migrating down the cable into the body of the hydrophone.

  • Compatible with all main stream data acquistion system,seismograph and data logger, including but not limited to Sercel 408UL/428XL/508XT, Geometrics Geode 24, Strata Visor, SUMMIT, PASI GEA 24, DSS Cube /Omnirecs Data Cube 3, etc.

The 12-10P end connector (MIL-C-26482 equivalent) is applied for DSS Cube / Omnitrcs DATA Cube3 seismic data recorder, which is a 3-channel and 24-bit seismic system. The 12-10P End connector (MIL-C-26482) is used on the sensor cable to connector geophones and the data recorder with the following features:
